Some of the process in After Effects:
1- The original work has many shades of gray. To make the colored version, I did this basic painting in Photoshop. After that, in After Effects, the opacity of this painting drops to 0 to make way for the gray version.
2- The main elements (trees and fire) were divided into layers in Photoshop. In After Effects, the branches of the larger tree were animated with the Bend expression in the effects tab.
3- The fire layers were animated with the Wave Warp effect.
4- All the elements were put together in a general composition, where I added small effects and finished it.
